#49 The British Museum

First things first, and I know you are waiting with bated breath, The Famous 3 Kings Pub honors

Henry the Eighth, Charles the First (the only English king to be beheaded) and Elvis Presley, ;-)

Ok, took a cross town bus to visit the world famous British Museum.  The first three quarters of the trip was South of the Thames.  It appears to me that Southside of  London has a lot in common with the Southside of Chicago.

Nice view of the skyline as we passes over the bridge back to Northside London.

I wanted to include this because it reminded me of the Flatiron Building in Manhatten.
The Front entrance and the queue behind us.

The Rosetta Stone

The statue of Rameses II

A statue from Easter Island a nd a full suit of Samurai armor

I hope to do an addendum to this post with more photos and details.

Tomoorow, bus sightseeing, changing of the guard, the National Gallery and a West End Show.
