#53 Last walk thru the city and the boat trip to Greenwich
OK, Last day in London. I thought this was interesting. A pickleball court with The Tower of London and the Tower Bridge in the background. Oh and the symbol of the City of London (the one square mile where the Roman City of Londiniom stood) is the dragon. This is the view from our hotel window. We had a free morning on Saturday and I had not had a chance to walk the Millennium Bridge. Obviously, it was constructed in 2000, a foot bridge across the Thames, but when they first opened it, it wobbled as people walked. So they spent a bunch of money and five more years reenforcing it. The locals still call it the wobbly bridge. Oh, and that is the Tate Modern Museum in the background. The approach to the bridge offered an amzing view of the dome of St. Paul's And this pic is just for my cousin, what's her name.
